Prayer Meetings
The Canadian Martyrs Community meetings are held every second and fourth Saturday of each month (please
refer to this page for this year's schedule). These meetings
are held at the Canadian Martyrs Catholic Church parish hall. Members participate in praise and worship, fellowship,
listening to Catholic teachings, studying the scripture, and sharing with one another about
our faith and life experiences, thereby allowing us to strengthen our personal relationship with God.
The Canadian Martyrs Youth Prayer Community (CMYPC) is an outreach
of the CMPC and is composed of youths from ages 12 to 21 years old. The CMYPC holds their own meetings, with one or more of the CMPC adult group members
acting as coordinator(s). CMYPC meetings are held in conjunction with the CMPC meetings.
CMPC Anniversary Picnics
Each year, the Canadian Martyrs Prayer Community organizes a picnic to commemorate
its founding in June 2001. Please refer to the schedule page to find out about the
date and location of the current year's picnic.
CMPC Christmas Parties
Ever since the group was established, the Canadian Martyrs Prayer Community has held a Christmas
party during this festive season. Members eat, dance, and play games, but most importantly, CMPC members celebrate
the birth of Jesus Christ through prayer, worship, and fellowship with one another. Please refer to the schedule page to find out about the
date and location of the current year's Christmas party.
CMYPC Retreat
On August 3-5, 2007, the Canadian Martyrs Prayer Community leaders organized the first ever
CMYPC summer retreat at Camp Capilano in Vancouver, British Columbia. The retreat gave the
youth the opportunity to dig deep within themselves with the sole intention
of improving their faith in and relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. The retreat was a huge success, as
evidenced by what CMYPC members had to say.
